As part of the Future Skills and Jobs project, Kolba Lab is looking for applicants for remote internship with Russia-based Malen creative agency, focused on brand development direction. Applicants from Lori, Shirak, Tavush and Gegharkunik are eligible to apply.
UNDP/Kolba Lab, in partnership with the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, is implementing the Future Skills and Jobs for Armenia’s Rural Youth project, funded by the Russian Federation. The target regions of the project are Shirak, Tavush, Gegharkunik and Lori with respective focus on agriculture and food processing, tourism and creative industry sectors. One of the project directions focuses on matching young talent with employment market. In doing so, UNDP offers short-term internships for last year students and newly graduates, including on-job training provided by the hosting employer, practical skill building opportunity and regular engagement in the current working process of the hosting organization.
Online training on brand development offers the participants a two-week intense skill building component, with practical assignments and case studies. Applicants have to apply with their own project (idea stage or ongoing project)!
Who can apply:
- Last year students of vocational or higher educational institutions or recent graduates;
- Young professionals up to 25 years old, who have a hospitality project (idea stage or ongoing project) to develop brand for;
- Residents of Shirak, Lori, Gegharkunik or Tavush regions;
- Applicants willing to acquire new practical skills and knowledge, with positive attitude and innovative mindset;
- Applicants from Shirak region will be given preference.
Terms and conditions:
This intense two-week skill building taining will take place on March 15-26 and will include theoretical talks, practical skill and professional capacity building component provided by the mentor, as well as practical assignments which need to be completed within set deadlines. The training will be conducted in online/remote format; however, active participation during all online sessions is required. The talks and assignments will be in Russian. Applicants have to present their own project to work on during the internship. Only five participants will be selected on a competitive basis.

- Development of professional skills under overall guidance of experts from Malen creative agency;
- Acquisition of applied knowledge on brand development, with focus on branding in tourism;
- Strengthening own competitiveness on labor market, preparedness for labor market of future.
