The United Nations Development Program (UNDP)’s Kolba Lab, in partnership with grow edutainment, as part of the Youth Skills Development program component, invites employers in Armenia to cooperate for organization of internships for women and youth living in the regions of Armenia.

Who can apply:

Organizations operating in Armenia, that are ready to engage youth and women in 3-month internship process in October-December,2021. Preference will be given to those employers that operate in Lori, Shirak, Tavush, Gegharkunik regions or plan to establish production units in the mentioned regions in the future, or are ready to organize the work remotely. Kolba Lab provides a minimum wage for interns selected through the competition.

Terms of cooperation and conditions։

The internships are being organized for beginner level specialists. This format of cooperation proposes to develop individual training and internship programs with UNDP and organize internship for young professionals who have no work experience, are a student or a recent graduate. The three-month internship includes the preparation of professional assignments by the employer, professional skills development consulting, practical work according to a specific direction. What does the employer get:

·       Practical skills development and evaluation program, staff evaluation criteria set developed by UNDP and grow edutainment company’s human resources specialists, that can be further used by the employer,

·       Financial support for the involvement of young professionals,

·       Access and opportunity to join to the Partnership Network,

·       Wide opportunity for improvement of professional competencies.

What is expected from partner organizations:

–       Recruit 1-3 interns, involving at least 10-15 hours per week in internships in October-December,

–       Organize a smooth process of internship and of participants’ skills’ development in an face to face or remote format,

–       Have a dedicated responsible person for working with interns during the internship,

–       Participation in the selection stage event (according to preliminary data 18-19.09. Days and venue will be confirmed additionally),

–       Submit interim and final observations and reports about the process and result of the internship.

–       Compliance with the values and mission of UNDP and Kolba.
