Kolba Lab is an innovation lab in UNDP Armenia which is funded by the European Union. We are passionate about experimentation, testing new approaches and building networks of creative people with new ideas.
Crowdsourcing: Traditionally, big development programs are designed by experts with less engagement of the end user of any service and product produced. We believe that the design process must start with identifying and thinking about real user needs. Kolba Lab is user centric, so if you’ve faced any social issues and think you have an innovative solutions for improving life in Armenia, come join us!
Here you can get more detailed information how we can work together, we will be glad to hear your ideas, no matter your age or identity, whether you represent an organisation, activists group or you are an enthusiastic individual.
Public Sector Innovation: Along with incubating citizen-led social innovation startups, we also work with innovators and change-makers working in public sector. Through various design and partnership formats we explore and test solutions from the ones who are actually running the governance machinery – the mid-level public servants. As a result, civil servants develop and run policy startups in the heart of the governance system, giving birth to a cohort of policy entrepreneurs.
