Throughout our new project, Innovation for Development (#Inno4Dev), Kolba Lab will hold a series of open competitions (Innovation Challenges) that crowdsource solutions on pressing problems in Armenia  to citizens.

Each citizen will have the opportunity to share his or her idea and suggest solutions. Kolba Lab will work with the best solutions and incubate them into a project, social start-up or other organisational form. Idea incubation is a mechanism by which citizens and innovators can involve themselves in the development process, defining the social problem they want to solve, suggesting solutions and then prototyping them.

Utilizing several human-centered design-based methodologies, Kolba Lab will help to improve your idea, enriching it with users insights and expert consultations by our mentors. The best solutions will receive support from UNDP and the European Union.

We started 2016 by asking our user which topic they would prefer for our next Innovation Challenge. We will soon announce a thematic Social Innovation Camp based on our survey results. Keep an eye on our News section for the updates.
