On October 1-3, UNDP Kolba Lab and Skolkovo School of Management organized a three-day training on “Foresight School” in Aghveran. The training was part of “Future skills and jobs for Armenia’s rural youth” project. The goal was to introduce Rapid Foresight tool to the participants.

Rapid Foresight is a tool for shaping and predicting the future over a short period of time, through which you understand which way to choose to reach your foal and to group people together so that they can realize their perceptions of future.

During these three days, participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the rapid foresight toolkit, test their knowledge through teamwork simulation and understand how to organize such sessions by getting proper tips on methodology, work structure, logic, teamwork, effective communication, so that each participant will clearly understand their role in the group and will be able to fully contribute to the process using their strong points.

In result, the participants gained future modelling skills and mapping skills that they will use later to organize similar trainings for the regions.
