As part of Innovation for Development project (#Inno4Dev), competitions for ideas will also take place within government to encourage and develop new, more effective procedures, open government solutions, and communication tools.  The starting initiative on this way was Armenia’s first Public Sector Innovation Week. Through a series of platforms and events, we explored what public sector innovation is and discussed how we can cooperate with Government to mainstream innovation through the public administration system in Armenia.

Incubation of public sector innovation in Armenia will be done with close cooperation with UK-based public sector innovation specialists, FutureGov.

As a result of the project, the concept for an Open Governance Centre will be created to promote and develop participatory approaches to public services.
