How to use alternative energy sources in community projects? Is it possible to give innovative solutions to existing social issues by using the resources of the latter?

What alternative sources of energy can be used in Armenia and how does the local market evolve? The number of sunny days in our country amounts to 300/year, which can apparently be beneficial for further development of this sector. However, solar energy is not the only alternative source of energy.

Very often “Energy Efficiency” and “Energy Saving” are used together, though there is big difference between those two phrases. Energy efficiency means using less energy to achieve the desired result while energy saving supposes the use of small amount of energy.

This all may sound a bit complicated for you, but  if you are interested in this area, we invite you to join the public talk for a friendly and understandable discussion on how to use energy sources in community projects and in everyday life.

The event will host invited speakers with shorts presentations, which will be followed by Q&A sessions.

2. Areg Tadevosyan, EU-funded Community Development for Social Entrepreneurship, Social Entrepreneurship and Energy Efficiency, Armenia’s perspectives and examples.
