Today there is limitless bulk of data in the web and its volumes are growing daily. In the Armenian web domain there is great deal of state Open Data repositories.  The open data accumulated and published by the state agencies  are open for any interested user, though at the same time the information is provided without any clear format. Data provided by different state agencies can be accessible ranging from html to pdf, doc or xls formats.

What type of state sector data is available for the user and how can one use it? What are the ways to use the data repositories and what are the perspectives for the development in the field?

We invite you to join the discussion around those question on October 21st, at 17:30 in UN House Armenia (Petros Adamyan 14). Media expert Samvel Martirosyan will lead the discussion,  who has conducted research and mapping of state sector Open Data sector in Armenia within the framework of Innovation for Development program. The research results will be published on Kolba Lab’s webpage soon.
