In respond to Kolba Lab’s open call for innovative ideas to address issues in local self-government bodies in Armenia we have received 60 ideas. Nine of those ideas got to the final stage. Kolba Lab’s team held individual meetings with each team to discuss project details and the process of further cooperation.

The following seven teams expressed their willingness to participate in the further development of ideas, which includes preliminary ethnographic research stage, meetings and discussions for development of program design and participation in the incubation cycle to transform idea to feasible project:.

1.Arsen Vardanyan – Solar-powered street lighting

2.Gharib Harutyunyan- Our Money- Visual budget of the community

3.“Initiating youth, developing community” initiative group- Clean community triangle

4.Nelly Manukyan- Terminal in municipality

5.Shushan Doydoyan- Monitoring of Public Vehicles

6. Innovative Center for Community Development NGO- e-governance system of local self-government  services

7.Arthur Dolmajyan- Accessibility of public transport

On November 12, all seven teams will participate in the working meeting to finalize and refine their ideas by using the DIY toolkit and service design tools. 

At the end of the day the teams will present their projects to the jury and some ideas will be selected for further assistance and financial support.
