On September 30, UNDP Kolba Lab in partnership with European Union and World Vision and Career Lab organized a joint event for the youth of Gegharkunik region – Career and Entrepreneurship Fair. The event was held in the city of Gavar.

The Fair was an open platform for all those, who were looking for an up-to-date information on current job vacancies, who were interested in educational possibilities both in Armenia and abroad. Local NGOs and initiatives presented their youth projects and shared existing opportunities for cooperation. Local, national and international organizations and institutions that have any opportunities for the youth of Gegharkunik also participated in the event.

Along with the fair different master classes and public speeches were conducted on topics such as key competencies in labor market, how to properly present yourself to an employer and what is important when presenting in social networks, etc. A training on entrepreneurship was also organized and delivered by the invited specialist from Sevan Startup Summit organizers. The goal of the training was to help youth to learn how to make their first steps in business.
